Ok so I have done A LOT of research and I *think* my digestive problems stem from my inability to digest certain veggies, cellulose being the culprit. I am currently healing very well consuming celery, cucumber and juicing carrots for before meal drinks. I am now feeling better.

So my question is, how do I go about strengthening my digestion so that I can consume veg with higher cellulose? When I went raw it NEVER occurred to me that there would be things I couldn't eat. I was so excited by Alissa's most recent book that I did go and eat whatever I wanted and paid big time for it.

My system appears to be weak. I have to be easy on the fruits right now as well. I have been eating so much that now I think yeast has become a problem... UGH! LOL

Okay so tips or any advise would be greatly appreciated, I am determined to not let this get in my way :)

Not really sure what to suggest other than going easy and listening to what your body tells you. You could keep a food diary and see which foods make you feel good and, conversely, bad.

We none of us digest cellulose so I am not sure what you mean by that part of your post.

From what I've read you are right people cannot digest cellulose. Having said that those with a strong digestion can tolerate it without any digestive issues. I could get a digestive enzyme with cellulase but I would rather try and get my digestion to be less sluggish and more able to handle a raw diet. At this point I find it challenging to even have a simple green smoothy with baby spinach and mango in it.

Does that make sense?
