Hi everyone! I'm a total noob when it comes to this raw stuff and any help is appreciated. My biggest concern is protein and calcium... what foods have 'em and will it be enough?

Anyway, I'm happy to be here!!

Welcome,
If you download a tool like this one
http://cronometer.com/
and fill in your foods you will see what you are getting.
I find that I can not avoid getting enough protein and calcium. The only thing that I have to watch is sodium and Vit E as I will not get enough of these without taking celery and Mango.
No problem with the mango as I love it anyway but I would gladly go through life without celery. I can do without it if I eat loads of cantaloupe.
By using a tool like cronometer you will learn what you need.

Howdy!!!

You may be surprised by just how abundant leafy greens are in calcium, and protein is in almost everything. I'm pregnant and still not finding even a hint of a struggle in filling all of my protein needs.

Nice to see you here and welcome you, in any case!

:-) xxo Eva

Welcome to the forum! :D If you're worried about calcium intake just do some research on raw foods high in calcium, you might be surprised at what you find. For example did you know that 100 grams of sesame seeds have 975.000 mg of calcium? Try sprinkling a teaspoon over your salads or adding them into your smoothies. Almonds are also very naturally high in calcium, try making some almond milk at home - it's so easy to prepare, delicious, and a great source of protein as well. :)
