What are some non-bitter green juices to make on my vegetable juice fast? Any particular vegetables that you recommend?
Also, I have a Kuving masticating juicer...can you really juice tomatoes? I don't want to stimulate digestion on the fast if it will just be purree...

i personally love spinach....
What you can also try is diluting the juice with water, and that will lessen the potency of the taste. That's how I've managed to juice kale and enjoy it.
I have no personal experience with that juicer you mentioned, so I can't help you there. But I can say that if you're fasting on juice your digestion will not kickstart. You are juicing, which removes the pulp. The fiber in the pulp would be what would start your digestion. If you're simply blending, then yes you will be digesting because you're consuming the fiber.
Hope this helps...

Beet juice is very concentrated. Do not drink it alone. Dilute with a milder juice such as carrot or apple. Beet juice has been proven therapeutic in the treatment of leukemia and cancer. This vegetable can be difficult to cultivate, but once established the beds can produce for hundreds of years.

I just noticed this is an old post but here goes anyway.
The DR OZ (minus the apple) is crazy good. I up the celery for a saltier flavor to offset the green taste.
You can use a cheesecloth to strain the juice. I suppose one can look at it this way, if the juice doesn't pass the cheesecloth it's probably too thick and maybe shouldn't be consumed.

I like spinach and apple juices, also a bit of lime juice can add additional spice to any juice as for me.

My favorite is swiss chard or spinach, celery, apples, and juice of 1 lemon. the lemon takes the bitterness away. You can use lemon or lime they both are yummy in juices.
