I want to order some food from eatraw.com. Does anyone have any suggestions? Oh, has anyone tried goji berries? How do they taste? Thanks. Toya

I've ordered from eatraw before (mind you I live in Belgium) and I had the flaxseed crackers italian style which were lovely, and I also had the essene bread Italian style which I didn't like very much, too dry and just, not very special.
I've ordered gojiberries from shazzie.com, but I don't think there are SOOO special, they're okay to me, but I could do without, especially when you know how much they cost! But that's my opinion, others might say they taste like pure treats... not to me anyways...

Hope this has helped!!

I ordered agave nectar and goji berries from eatraw.com I love the agave nectar, and I really liked the goji berries too, but they are so pricey, and I wonder if I get the same nutrients from other foods. But I did enjoy them, and my dog was absolutely crazy about them :p

Eatraw didn't tell me how much I was going to pay for shipping. The price wasn't exorbitant, but I do think they should let the customer know. I called them to ask about the s&h, and they never returned my phone call. I think they could improve their customer service.

This is a pet peeve of mine. If online business wants to be taken seriously they need to let you know how much shipping is up front and if they give you a phone number they need to have someone there certain hours answering calls. :)

This what I was going to say about Eatraw.com...I have been hearing similiar complaints like this. This makes me scared because I am already hesitant about ordering online. I need the customer service to be on point.

One lady mentioned that it also took her over a month to get her order...after they charged her CC. That makes no sense to me.

My raw cents...

My order took awhile too. The shipping was slow. It's ashame because eatraw has good products and good prices form my experience, but their customer service needs work.

I just ordered from eatraw.com and my order was here within a week, but like the rest of you, I wish I knew the shipping & handling charges as I use my Debit Card and I would love to deduct it from my checking account.

I guess I should be e-mailing eatraw, making the request about letting us know as soon as they know the shipping charges.

I placed an order a couple weeks ago with eatraw.com and was frustrated about the same thing of not knowing how much shipping was. I emailed the company several times and got no response. I did however get my order in less than a week I think and everything was correct except that I ordered a coconut oil book which said it came with a free sample and I never received the sample. I would hesitate to order with them again because their customer service is so terrible but then again natures first law isn't great either (well sometimes it is lol).

Oh yes! Now that I read about the s&h costs!
here's a story for you:
So I ordered quite a lot, but I live in Belgium, and it's not that easy to order things from the US, well, it's easy but expensive, so I ordered for a lot of money. They couldn't tell me the shippingcosts either! It was about $60 in the end, plus another $25 or so for the taxes, damn those taxes!

I got my stuff rather quick, I think it took about 10 days to get here, but here's the problem: they charged me twice!!! My jaw dropped to the floor when I saw my visa bill!! I immediately mailed Eatraw a couple of times complaining about them, but never got an answer! Thank god I could count on the people from Visa to arrange everything and a month later the money was back on my account, but they had more than $200 extra for a month, MY $200!!!
So that's not such positive news either I'm afraid...

Wow, I'm glad I posted this. Does anyone know where I can get raweo cookies from besides eatraw.com? I really want to try them, but I'm hesitant about ordering.

Hey, were your born in 76 finished school in 76? That is an important year in my life! Any way - Eatraw to me is shaky - yes, you get your products, but billing and customer service requires some extensive training classes - and they don't seem to care. The excuses I have gotten is that they are very busy - well so is my money and that for me isn't comfortable.

I do believe that are a subcontractor for the Raw Bakery - whose website is under construction. However, the telephone number is 1-718-829-3374. Call them - the products are delicious and beautiful and the customer services second to none. :p

I too, have found eatraw.com's customer service a bit shaky (you could at least answer your customer's questions, can't you?) but I order from them sometimes nonetheless. I've gotten several things from them, like agave nectar. My favorite thing by far are their olives!!!!!! Mmmmmmmmmmm!!! I like the kalamatas, picholines, all of them!

As for the raweos, solchile...not worth it! I got all excited about them when I first went raw, so I ordered some, but they really aren't very tasty (or, at least, they don't taste like oreos. maybe I was just disappointed...)

If you can find $150 worth of stuff to order, their free shipping is worth it...

I'd say to skip the Raweo's as well. Almost 100% coconut and they gave me heartburn!

Has anyone ordered from High Vibes in New York? Their prices aren't fabulous, but maybe better customer service?

I always see the Raweos and other raw cookies in the healthfood stores in California and also when I was in New York. The raweos are alright in my opinion but it's almost all nuts and coconut so probably not the healthiest thing to eat on a regular basis but I thing it's good as a treat. I tried lucious lemon swirls and was a lot more impressed with those and thought the flavor and texture was excellent but you have to like lemon flavored things lol. One other thing I can say about eatraw is that their cacao nibs didn't look as good as natures first law. I don't know why but it seems like it just wasn't as high quality. There were light colored nibs or some kind of debris from the cacao mixed in with the dark colored whereas NFL was only pure dark cacao nibs. Minor detail but still I think I would prefer to order from them especially since they will price match. Thank you for the phone number Sweet Lips, I will definately give them a call when I am thinking of placing my next order!
