Does anyone have any simple recipes that would be good for a potluck? This is only week 3 raw for me so I have kept it pretty simple with salads, smoothies and cut up raw fruits/veg...

I borrowed Alissa's book from the library, decided to purchase it, brought the book back to the library and then we had a postal strike, so my poor book is in limbo somewhere LOL So I don't have her book for a reference and the other copy I borrowed is out.

Any help for this raw newbie would be appreciated. I have no dehydrator but I do have a blender LOL

is your vendor a vitamix? Do you have a food processor?

Sadly just a plain ole blender, does a great smoothie though

Is this a raw food event or a regular pot luck?

Little is tastier to me than a nice fruit salad this time of the year. Guac and vegi's is also easy and super good. If you have a dehydrator you can do some watermellon candy.

I suggest a pie.
Base nuts and dates in the food processor
Next layer fruit (I like golden kiwis but any soft fruit will do).
Top layer bananas and blueberries in the blender and pour on and allow to set in fridge.

Will the banana/berry mix gel up like a jello or cream pudding in a firm pie or just stay soft more like yogurt?

It sets like jello.
I made one of these today as I am hosting my first raw food meet-up tomorrow. It is best made the day before.
I used sunflower seeds dried apricots and dates as the base as I have no nuts.
