Hi, I'm a senior citizen in pretty good health, but could be better and I'd like to trade some fat for muscle. Current weight about 235 and hope someday to get back to what was my healthiest weight of around 180. Big challenge!:)
I stumbled on Alissa's dvd yesterday , have ordered her book and will hopefully start a 30 day challenge 1 st of July.
My immediate challenge right now is to get a shopping list, assemble some kitchen equipment and create a menu.
I'm a bottom line kind of person . Any SPECIFIC advise is appreciated and welcomed. Please list or point me to:
kitchen tools, specific models etc appreciated if allowed
shopping list
menus I don't want much do I? Oh ya :)

Thanks y'all:

Hello there and welcome,

Alissa's book has a pretty comprehensive shopping list section - you bought her first book I take it?

For me the key was having variety of foods to choose from. I didn't have much in the way of appliances - just a food processor and a blender with citrus attachment.

Good kitchen knives are a must as with all food prep.

Hey there,

So I Use a book called the simply raw kiving foods detox manual by natasha kyssa

It is a great book and guides you through everything about the raw food diet and has incredibly simple recipes which you can easily alter with the ingredient s you have in your fridge.

it is my go-to book....

maybe we can help each other out with support!
