Anyone got one of these? I'm moving out, and the blender is staying with my roommate. I was wondering wether it would be better to buy a juicer and a blender invidually, or a combo. I tried to find some on internet, this kind of;

Anyone got any ideas if it would be a good investment? not nesseseraly this one, but the idea.

I would say you need both a juicer and a blender if you use both a juicer and a blender. There are lots of threads about appliances on the forum if you do a search - click the banana at the top.
Well, it depends. I agree with MysticTree in that individual units are the way I would want to go. Is investing in a high speed blender out of your budget right now?
I once read that any juicer is good! Because at least we'd be juicing :)
But not every juicer does a good job on tougher things like greens, or perhaps wheatgrass. It depends on what you're wanting to juice and blend...
I had a Kitchen Aid blender that cost over $100 and it didn't do justice to blending my smoothies even chopping everything as finely as I could in the food processor before blending. When I got my high speed blender - the smoothies were blended to perfection. *Ü*

Check the warranty. If it's at a minimum, under 2 years, it'll probably not last long. A 5-year warranty will get you a pretty decent machine. 7+?? Bestest.
