so I made some oat milk, just put water and oats together, 24hours later drained the water.
it tastes very oaty(shock), is there anything I can add to change the texture and add a bit more flavour, anyone make there own if so what do you add?

lol--it tastes very oaty (shock)
maybe save some of the oats and blend to make thicker
add vanilla
blend with some berries
cinnamon would probably be yummy
I've never made oat milk. Just guessing that using some creativity may get you the desired outcome. Let us know please.

I love the idea of raw oat milk. I must give it a try! Are you using whole oat groats or flakes?
ETA: Another question - what was the ratio of oats to water? Thanks!

I just got oats

you get a container, fill it 1/3 oats appox, 2/3 water.
shake it when you remember, after 24-36 hours, get a sieve and drain the oat milk out. You might want to add something too it to give it more texture as like I said its very dry and oaty.

Yes. I was aware of the not-so-raw issue around oats. I buy oat groats and consider it good enough for now. I like the idea of being able to make a milk that is lower in fat than my usual almond milk (that being not-so-raw as well).
