Hi Im new here.

Trying to eat as raw as possible but protein and staying full for me as a guy is a big issue.

Want to work lentils into the diet.

Can someone tell me a simple recipe or idea for a raw lentil soup?

-Do you have to sprout them first and if so how/how long does it take?
-I've actually been eating lentils straight out of the bag at times haha...

Help is appreciated

yes you need to soak and sprout them.

Take a look over on the sprouting forum for advice.

As to protein there are a lot of threads about that now (this is the third) so maybe join in one of those?

Lentils make great sprouts. I just made a salad--sprouted lentils, chopped celery, chopped walnuts, parsley, chopped red pepper, olives, dried cranberries, raw olive oil. Yummy and filling.

This. Just find a soup recipe you like and add the sprouted lentils to it. For soups, I prefer using them just as they begin to sprout tails.
