God, I feel like Im just on this constant cycle with RAW...why are these food addictions so intense. It's like my brain says "life isn't worth living without pretzels" for gods' sake. And so I just keep on the merry go round of raw on, relapse, raw off....... I just wanna give up.

And it seems so complex from this site. I dont want every minute of every day to be consumed by FOOD. Obsessed over labels, food combining, soaking, etc. There's just so much more to life. Shouldn't this be easier!!!

Not in a positive head space on this tonight, but hope to try again tomorrow :(

Heck, I used to do more of that before raw. With raw, no labels. I don't combine food, I eat it. I don't remember the last time I soaked anything. That's the problem with too much information. It's confusing. That's why I stopped doing interviews. One person says this; one person says that.... to confusing for listeners.

Stop listening, stop reading, eat what you want ... long as it's raw OR, if you've not gotten them... Alissa's first book and dvd set. That's all anyone starting raw really needs.

Thanks Revell. I just find....my whole thinking around whats healthy has been totally messed up for so long........... that its really hard to rewire. I have no idea how much green smoothie Im supposed to be drinking? I mean..... the amount of calories I consume when eating junk (like now) is sick if I counted it up...but for some reason, binging on chocolate seems more okay to me than 8 banannas.... there's just so much anxiety and ignorance around food for me.......

Maybe if I could just focus on RAW and not necessarily LIVE (a whole new layer).... as in uncooked stuff.... and start fine-tuning from there. Like focus on organics after I get the raw down. Its just all too much in the beginning, and i give up. The energy that it takes to be focused on RAW is just.... headache provoking. I was doing it the complex way. Id like to focus, quite simply, on adding as much fruits and veggies as I can. Yet another approach.

Another simple approach you can try starts by ALWAYS having a raw food break-fast. As you do that for awhile your body will start to change and the raw will appeal to you more and will taste better and better. Gradually you will want more and more raw food.

How I began ~

Took 2 days a week and spent a couple hours of that time to make a few ... as in 2-3 main dishes. Alissa's dvd set shows how easy it is to do. Jackie & Gideon and Ronnie & Minh also have some vids that show ease of making.
