Hi I am obviously a new member! I joined this site because I want to recieve support from others who are also dieting and so I can stay motivated. I used to weigh 100 pounds at 5'1" but now I am preety sure I weigh anywhere from 15 to 20 pounds more. I haven't weighed myself in awhile and I don't want to because I know I will be very dissapointed in what the scale reads. I would like to weigh anywhere from 95-100 pounds. I think my weight gain has to do with most of the stress from my first year in college. I used to run competitively in college but after having bad experiences, I decided to withdraw from my school and move back home. I do not run the 70 miles a week I used to run but I am getting back into it and will hit 35 miles this week. I do not have a problem exercising but I do have a problem with my eating habits. I usually eat healthy but it is the amount that I eat that is unhealthy. This is why I would like to start a juice diet tomorrow. I am not sure how long I will do this diet for. Maybe 30 days? It depends on how my jeans/shorts fit and how I look in the mirror. I have tried several diets before but it seems that whenever I put food in my mouth, I crave more of it and I do not know when enough food is enough. This whole dieting thing is all new to me because I have never had to diet to lose weight before in my entire life. I just want support so I can stick with it and advice from anyone that is willing to give any!!

We will give you whatever help you want but this is not for loosing weight. This is about eating healthy for ever.
I was never over weight and many more here are in the same situation so do not know much about dieting to loose weight.

... although, excess weight elimination often happens ~ naturally.
