Just wanted to say hello. :) I have been lurking for about a week and I'm ready to get started. I have been inspired by many great posts. I am currently in my 3rd day (of at least 7 days) of my Master Cleanse. I feel great! I will be starting the raw 30 day challenge after I finish my with my cleanse. I'm ordering Alissa's book and DVD today but I do have other raw books. I have been researching this for awhile now.

Welcome Rawtwists!

I too began my raw journey with the Master Cleanse. It's a great lead-in to this lifestyle, and for me, it helped eliminate all of the cravings for cooked food once I became raw.

You'll find much information and support on this site....the folks here are awesome!

Best wishes on your raw journey!

Thank you for your support. The MC is going OK. Even though I have done up to 21 day fasts, I'm a little impatient with this one. I am ready to get started with my 30 day challenge though and am thinking about stopping the fast and starting with the challenge tomorrow. It served its purpose and got me a jump start. So let the games begin.... :D

Wher does one get the Master Cleanse? What are you permitted to eat during those 7 days of cleansing?

Juicing, Sprouting, and Organic Gardening Section, there are a few posts on Master Cleanse.

Also check out this thread:

Plus these links:

Also, if you decide to give it a try: I suggest you buy Stanley Burroughs - Master Cleanse book (it is only a few bucks) and it will explain everything in detail. Plus if you google Master Cleanse it will give you tons of information.

Hope this helps. :)
