Hello all:

I am a Chocolate Bliss fan--the stuff created by David Favor. When in the US, I usually buy it from LovingSuperFoods, and I always have a good experience.

I live in the UK most of the year, however, so I purchased it from HighVibeHealth.com run by Steph Gariano. After four weeks of waiting, I contacted to find out when I should expect the product. I heard no response and ended up sending multiple more emails. I finally phoned the number on my bank statement and received a "This number is no longer in service" message. I tracked Steph Gariano down on facebook, and finally a week later I received a response claiming I hadn't paid for international shipping. I'm unsure about this, but either way, it would have been good to tell me this initially rather than me hounding them.

So I asked for a refund... that was two weeks ago... and I still haven't heard anything or received any message. My bank says they can't help because I paid with a debit card.

Does anyone else know anything about this "company" or has anyone else had a similar problem? I find it really worrying that my money has essentially been stolen by someone else in the raw community. I actually wondered if perhaps the owners were facing some sort of personal tragedy, as it just seems so crazy to me.

Anyway, my word of warning at the moment, I suppose, is don't buy from them! Just get it from David Favor (Radicalhealth.com) or lovingsuperfoods.com.

*sigh*

There does not seem to be anything on google when you put in the company name and the word scam but oddly enough it does not bring up your post either. I found that odd.

Here's what I can do for you.

We only ship overseas through your freight forwarder of choice.

And, once you have your freight forwarder account setup you can
Skype me (my Skype ID is in my Raw Food Talk profile).

You can let me know what you ordered and I'll replace whatever
you ordered for free. You'll still pay shipping from your forwarder
to you and I'll cover everything else.

This is Melissa with LovingSuperfoods.com. I just wanted to let you know that you can have your Chocolate Bliss and other super foods you usually order from us shipped to you in the UK via a freight forwarder (like David mentions in his reply).

Here are a couple of links to freight forwarders you might consider:

Once you have an account with a freight forwarder you'll have a US address you can use when you order from us and then your forwarder will take care of the rest.

We ship this way to folks outside the US and Canada for the easiest experience all around. I highly encourage you to take advantage of this system. Hope that helps you in your ongoing Bliss-feasting. :)

Thank you all for the messages--and I will look into the freight option as well and personally message you, David and/or Melissa.

I really appreciate Chocolate Bliss and have been improvising in the interim, but it is never quite as good!

Also, I wholeheartedly agree regarding Melissa's customer service. Each time I receive a shipment at my mom's house, it is loaded with great information, so clearly personalized by Melissa!

Meanwhile, it seems I stirred the pot. The saga continued today with a message from Steph saying that she put through a refund for the product, but for some reason, the shipping refund didn't go through. My husband and I just scoured our bank statements and there is definitely no refund presently--partial or whole. I will update on when/if there is any refund (again, partial or whole--currently neither!).
