Hello everyone
I just made the Lemon Curd Tart from Matthew Kenney's Everyday Raw Desserts.
My irish moss never got "creamy" in my VitaMix. It thickened up so much that my VitaMix motor was smelling... :-o The final product isn't smooth.
Was my mistake simply not using enough water? I followed the directions (2 cups irish moss blended with 1/2 c water ) but could have put used too much irish moss as packed the 2 cups.
Also I read in an earlier post that Cafe Gratitude says to soak for 12-24 hrs whereas Everyday Raw Desserts says to just soak for 3-4 hrs.
I would love to hear your experiences.
