Well, I am just getting started in the raw life. I read one of Carol Alt's books a few years back, and was intrigued. Since then, I have gained 20 lbs., my skin is in terrible shape, and suffer from poor sleep. It is time for change. My biggest concern is giving up some cooked proteins. My husband absolutely refuses to give up beef, but has agreed to eat more healthy choices. So, my goal is to transition slowly.
I am very excited!

Congrats on starting a new lifestyle! I've been a member on here but never interacted with others in the forums. I would just read posts to get advice.
Well, it's been 4 months and I've lost 33lbs :excited: I started off 100% raw vegan and slowly began to fall off of it when going to family functions and hanging out with my friends. I think you're doing a great job with transitioning. I really should have done that.
But, I am getting recharged in the next few days because I am going in with a bang on June 1st! I still have tons of questions, as I haven't been able to get any concrete answers on certain things. I plan on logging in everyday to keep myself on track. lol!

good luck to you . u might do what i did with my hubby . i told him that we would do vegan meals for my daughter and him with meat once a week . he agreed and i make awesome meals for him . i have to vegan books that i got from friends that didnt understand what raw was . but it is working . he has more energy and is more healthy even though he wont admit it . good luck to you .
