I am new to this forum and want to say Hi and introduce myself. I am a mom of 3 children from Orange County NY. I work 2 days a week as a Physical education teacher for grades K-8, I am also a certfied personal trainer and aerobics instructor at a local fitness center.

I have been a vegetarian most of my life but vegan for about a year. Making the transition to raw this spring was pretty easy for me ( and my husband who went 85% raw with me :) ) it's staying 100% raw while cooking for my family that has been tough and brings me to my big sigh of relief for finding this forum for information, recipes, help and support in transitioning my children.

I look forward to sharing my recipes and experiences with you and thank you for having me.

A warm welcome to the forum. Feel free to ask us what you need to know and congrats on gifting yourself and your family with health. There are lots of tips here you will find useful, as lots of us cook for family members while eating an all raw diet. I know that challenge well.
Best wishes to you!

Welcome to the Board. I was interested to see you are a PT and PE teacher. You will be a great addition to this growing forum. I recently found this forum and I am learning alot about my new raw lifestyle from everyone here.getting some new knowledge and support here.

I am a Figure Competitor for 5 years now . I decided to go (close to all) Living Raw (due to digestive and metabolism problems developing from the Standard Bodybuilding Diet and the Yo Yo competition diets). I have had concerns about my training and diet for shows and adding muscle as i have really changes my macro nutrient % since going raw 2 months ago ! Getting my protein to the mins has been a challenge !

SO again wecome and look forward to your posing in our forum ! I may have some questions you can give insight on !!

Thanks for the kind words Twinee1 ! I have been trying to put together a protein, fat, carb analysis for my daily intake of raw food, but it has been tedious to say the least ! I'll let you know when a finally get a days % balanced and down.
