Hi I am trying to track down a good manual juicer, one that can (hopefully) do:
1) Soft fruits AND hard fruits/vegs
2) Higher volumes (I will not be doing wheatgrass, mainly things like fruits, carrots, maybe garlic, etc)
3) Maybe even oil press nuts (was reading at http://dailyjuicer.com/category/manual-juicer/ that nuts are possible with some juicers?).

I work in humanitarian aid so I live abroad in developing countries for the most part so asides from issues of having consistent electricity most places run at 240v so i can't use US/110v appliances easily anyway. Any suggestions for heavy duty (stainless steel?) hand cranked (masticating) juicers that are preferably less than $300 would really be appreciated!

Cheers,

-Gaiko

Hi Gaiko ~ I don't know of a juicer to recommend, but what I can suggest is you visit John Kohler's site (http://www.discountjuicers.com/) and contact him. The man does know his juicers! Perhaps he either carries one or can recommend one that will work for you.

I'd be interested to know what you find... *Ü*
