Hey guys,
My name's Jenna - i'm from the UK and I came across some videos about raw food diets on youtube. I guess I don't know what I was specifically looking for in terms of healthy eating but it really stood out to me.
I love love fruit and some people on there were eating masses of fruit a day, not restricting themselves or allowing themselves to go hungry.
I was so curious and inspired.
Today has been day 1 and I never planned to express what I was doing it was merely a personal experiment but I am thrilled.
I know it's still early days and it's bound to get tough but i'm gonna keep going for as long as I can - i'm not gonna put a date or time on it because i'm in love with how this way of eating is so unrestrictive.
Today my mood has been great. I'm enthusiastic, not just towards the task but towards everything. I'm extremely happy despite it being assessment/exam period here and everybody else being stressed. I'm positive. I'm super energetic.
I wanna tell you a few things about my past diet.
I have at times been healthy and the majority of times, not. My weight yo-yo's very often. I've been 8 stone before and now i'm between 11 and 12 stone.
I am only 5"5, this is unhealthy for me!
I really do like healthy food, but i am a student and on a strict budget - but i guess there's always going to be excuses that aren't valid for eating a bad diet. (Unlike many of the people i've heard about I've not been eating the organic superfruits - 3 bananas for breakfast and quarter of a honeydew melon today so far!)
I'm not gonna be a strict raw food follower, i'm dipping my toe in the water, it's improving me so far and i'm going to continue to be inspired by everybody here or on the net and continue to be curious about how positive an impact this sense of mind will have on my food intake and lifestyle!!
With love, Jen.
