Soapy tasting raw choc biscuits

I have on several occasions made raw chocolate biscuits or fudge that has turned out to taste very soapy. I have used raw cocoa, grounds almonds or brazils, coconut oil (in small amounts), cocoa nibs, buckwheaties or ground buckwheat flakes and raisins.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so do you know what causes the soapyness as I cant work it out!!

do you use buckwheat in other things? It isn't my favorite flavor or aftertaste... maybe that's is. I much prefer raw oats.

I made the buckwheaties and just didn't care for the aftertaste, either. The only buckwheat I've enjoyed is sprouting it or having the soaked mixed in with a lot of other things to mask the flavor.
