dang I have a hard time juicing tomatoes. juicing knob is either too tight or too loose and eventually the juice backs way up the chute and gets impossible to get out. any tricks?

i got some!!!
okay...
start juicing with two slices of tomato (i cut each tom into 4 slices). then put through a piece of celery... then one slice... some parsley... then one slice... some kale... then another slice... some beet... then another slice and repeat ingredients until done. i keep my knob closed all the way.
;) it's an art form for sure... but with patience... (let the juicer just work and walk around the room while you wait LOL) it will do toms for you. i can't do more than 3 toms though... it just won't do more than three without being taken apart and cleaned and start over.

thanks ALeesha....will try it. you are right about the green star not being as good for soft fruits.

i've managed to figure out how to make it work though.
when i do pineapple... i do it with apples.
cantaloupe works GREAT alone
toms as mentioned above
and i haven't come across anything else that's hard to do.

Combining items works well. You can also try loosening the front tension about 1- 1.5 turns. If the pulp is too wet, run it through again with a bit more tension. I can be a littler slower than other juicers, but the end result is So worth it!
