I have had terrible skin since I hit puberty (10 years ago) and I am sick of putting harsh chemicals on my face. I would like to find a facial moisturizer and/or sunscreen that is natural and can cure my dry skin. If anyone knows of any products or natural remedies that they can recommend it would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I currently use Fruit Of The Earth 100% aloe on my face, but I am skeptical about it being 100% aloe without any other ingredients.

Thanks!

Do you have any particular brand that you use and do you have instructions for application? Sorry about asking so many questions!

If you do not trust your aloe to be real aloe then you should grow your own. It is very easy to grow.

I'll second that! That's all I use. It makes a great all-over body moisturizer too!

Smear it on. LOL!

Okay, actually, there's a LITTLE more to it in that it is greasy until it absorbs, don't put it on and then try to get dressed right away or you have grease smears on your shirt; don't put it on feet and then walk on wood or tile floors til it's absorbed. Common sense stuff like that. But it's great and even though it's an oil and it's greasy, it works well on my "oily" days of the month, too. It doesn't plug up pores like we become accustomed to believe oils would after years of listening to marketing for synthetic products.

Thanks for all the advice. I'm gonna go to Whole Foods on Friday and get some raw coconut oil and try it out!
