Hello,
I'm from the Northwest and purchased "Living with Live Foods" by Allissa about a year and a half ago. Since that time, I started juicing regularly and felt much better, but continued to eat cooked foods (never fast foods). On a whim, I decided to go 100% raw. So, since March 20, 2011 until my birthday this month which is a week plus off, I have been 100% raw. Going 100% raw (granted I am single) has been extremely easy. I haven't experienced temptations to stop eating raw to date. My motivation to go 100% raw was to see if my arthritis pain, which is mostly in my hands and was getting more and more painful, would be impacted in a positive way by eating just raw. I am thrilled to say that my hands are nearly pain free. It is joyful to not wake up in the night with intense pain in my hands and wrists. I am so happy. I sleep SO good! I'm not overweight, but have lost 4-5 lbs, but I eat A LOT! My motivation to continue is to stay pain-free. It is an immense relief. I am in my 50's! Yay!
