Hi all,

My name is Jennifer. I'm a nearly 30 year old from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I'm new to the world of vegan and I'm here because I'm looking for a support network to help me on my path of incorporating more raw foods into my diet.

I am looking to lose some weight; however, this is not my primary reason for wanting to go raw. My primary goal is to improve my overall health, not just weight loss. Since I do want to lose weight, I will provide my starting weight (192 lbs) and height 5'7".

I look forward to getting to know you guys. Any tips are welcome!

If you are just starting out the best tip is to do it Alissa's way. Eat what you want as long as it is raw. This will help to satisfy you and will help you to get over your cravings.
The next tip is to have a green smoothie every day.

Hi Jennifer and welcome. Ditto on the green smoothie and Alissas way. Get your food plan together and do the 30 Day Raw Challenge. I learned a lot about raw when I did the challenge and did some healing too.
