YES! I found myself this summer (granted my first time with RAW was LATE this summer- August) I was craving Watermelon. All my life I've tried to like melons, but just don't. That includes ALL melons. I love the smell...but not the taste. In 12 steps to Raw, by Victoria Boutenko, she talks about your body craving something you've never had before. IT has to do with detox, and your body healing. If I would've known this in August, I would have bought one of those Watermelons (I didn't at the time, because I knew I wouldn't eat it!!) I just finished reading her book. I know to listen to my body now!!

Many years ago I did a 24 hr fast to raise money for charity. Avocado was not something that I was in the habit of eating at the time but it was the only thing I wanted. When I later learned just how nourishing an avo was I assumed that my body wanted it because it was starving and wanted all that nourishment.
Make sure that you are eating enough to give your body the nourishment it needs because theis may be causing the longing.
