I would like to make Alissa's calzone but was not able to find buckwheat of anykind except for a pancake mix. Can any one offer up suggestions? I visited a Trader Joe's and Clarke's Nutrition. thanks jj

I usually get mine in the bulk section of my health food store. Trader Joes doesnt carry anything like that.
They are a small pebble like groat with a greenish/whitist tint to them. When you soak them they get slimy.
I just started some buckwheat so that I could make a raw pizza.
I would call around to whatever health food stores that you have in your area and ask them if they carry buckwheat groats. That would save you some time running around and if they dont have it perhaps they would be able to order some for you.
