Bottled water benefits?

Just a quick questions is glass bottles water better than plastic bottled water? Thanks

Funny you should ask...I have been trying to weed plastic out of my life because of hormone imbalance that I have been having. I have started carrying my water in glass bottles instead of my plastic water bottles. It turns out that the sport bottles that I had were bought in 2005 and were a #7. That plastic leaches BPA into your water. BPA is a hormone disruptor. I just run my water thru my Britta and pour it into an attractive glass bottle. I use glass jars (I ask people to save jars for me) for smoothies and any other drink I carry too.

Also, I like the way the water taste coming from a glass bottle. I can usually taste and smell plastic when I drink from those bottles.

I drink out of stainless steal at work or when traveling. I buy the thermos type and they are wonderful. Stays nice and cold all day on those hot summer days..

Stainless steel is good too. For me, I like to see what I'm drinking LOL!

This thread has got me thinking I should throw away my nalgene. Where does one find a glass water bottle?

I just use a stainless steel bottle. The only annoying part is, you can't see how much water is left. I would be hesitant to use a glass bottle because I'm afraid of dropping it, LOL. I also imagine it's heavier to carry around.
