How do you know if it is raw?

It is very unlikely that it is but ask the company concerned what the drying temp is.
They will tell you.

I ask the company/owner of the shop if its not written on the label.

Is sundried always below 40°C (104°F)?that was always my guess that it is raw when its sundried

wow - i just had an "ah ha" moment. I don't own and have never used a dehydrator. I do buy dried fruits a lot (more then i should) like at trader joes (flattened bananas are THE most addicting thing in the world, i am convinced, lol) but its a great question - im sure dehydrators go higher then 115-20^. Yet another reason not to eat dried fruits. thanks!

I try to limit my dried fruit intake unless I dry it myself. And I only eat the dried fruits if I know for sure the brand I use is truly raw - which can be a pain to contact the companies but worth it like mentioned.

How about raisins? Drying them by yourself can take a long time so how do you buy them if i cant find any sundried raisins /:
