I just tried my first Zumba class today. I heard about it awhile back but never made it there. Its fun and a GREAT way to work off all that extra energy when you're Raw:excited:

Anyone else try it and like it?

I accidently signed up for a meeting notification for Zumba and recieve notices but have not checked it out. May just have to try it. Great for the coordination and muscle tone from what I've heard.

You definitely work ALL your muscles...I'm so sore right now. (I lifted weights last night too)....good times:heart

I too like Zumba a lot.Take a few classes last year but have to left out because of a serous accident..It is quite good that you join the Zumba classes because it includes basic rhythms like salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, waltz, tango, samba.

I am thinking of signing up for a weekly Zumba class, but I've never done it before and I'm not a good dancer in general, so -- and I know this is really dumb -- I feel intimidated and embarrassed to go when I know nothing about it. Would appreciate someone to kick me in the right direction and tell me it will be all good. :-)

I'm a Zumba instructor! I teach 5-6 hour long classes a week during the fall and winter. Nobody goes to the gym in my town in the summer though, so I'm catching up on choreography.

I think Zumba is the single most effective exercise I have ever done. Because it is so fun that I WANT to do it daily. Watch your water though! You get super dehydrated if you don't drink often. I go through more than a liter of water during an hour long class and then recover with some coconut water.
