I usually have class from 11am-4pm, with a lunch break in between. I have been eating lots of wraps (either a veggie wrap or nut butter and fruit wrap), but I would like to starting having a raw lunch. I don't want to have to bring a huge salad, or anything. What are some good, compact, and portable lunch-type foods I can bring? I live in a dorm, so no kitchen, but I have a blender and a fridge.
I also bring some fruit, like an apple, pear, or banana.
Thanks!

Avocados - you can use a plastic knife to cut it and dispose of the pit.
Use a spoon to eat it. I always carry a small shaker or pouch of Himalayan or Celtic Sea Salt with me. Sprinkle on and enjoy!

I also make a easy tomato soup and put it in a small Ball Jar (be careful not to drop it!)

Wraps, crackers, & "chips" are always good things that travel well (Ziploc baggies s or lunch sacks).

i will bring an avocado to work as well. i don't use salt though i sprinkle it with dulse. my favorite salad last year was spinach, mango and sesame seeds. super easy to make and the mango gets every where so no need for dressing. ani phyio's teriyaki noodles are also a good potable lunch and require very little prep.

If not a slad, then.....I slice up cucumbers and take cherry tomatoes. Usually, I'll throw in a few mandarins or an apple or bag of grapes in my bag. I am still practicing with making a blue cheese dressing that tastes good.

I have gotten cashew butter and strawberries to make romaine lettuce wrap PBJs.

Ahh being raw living in a dorm. I feel your pain. I did that freshman year.

Something really easy to make a take is an avocado smushed up in a red bell pepper. Then you just eat it like an apple. You could also add some salsa/pico de gallo. Super delicious. Also you could make nut meat to add to that if your blender will blend nuts. Just blend walnuts, onions, cumin and whatever other veggies like carrots or bell peppers.

Fruit! Lunch is for getting some calories in. Sugar is a good word in the raw food world! Don't worry about recipes, just eat a big pile of fruit, what could be easier than that.
