I'm getting very para about having something wrong with me, like PCOS. I've only really got one reason for this, which is my period has gotten much lighter lately.
I first noticed my period getting lighter around a year and a half ago but not to this extent. Around that time I also broke out in acne (which I put down to consuming lots of refined sugar), but lost about ten pounds which doesn't seem to fit with symptoms of PCOS.
Then in the last couple of months, my period is noticeably different. It lasts for the same length of time, sometimes a day extra, but is much lighter. I'm going through more than half the amount of products I'd normally use. When I was younger, the norm for me was to be changing whatever I was using every 3-4 hours, inc in the middle of the night. I'm also used to cramps but now I get absolutely none.
I'm not one hundred percent raw yet.
Could either of the following be causing this:
I've started doing a lot more juicing; this month I drank nothing but green juice on the first 3 days of my period.
I started exercising more - right before my period came I did twelve days in a row of light jogging - less than ten minutes.
Additional info:
I'm nineteen.
I'm at uni and have been a bit stressed with my OCD/depression but no more than usual
I've used the morning-after pill 3 times in the last 2 years. Last time was 5 months ago.
I'm not pregnant - did a test twice.
I was on birth control exactly one year ago, and only for 2-3 weeks.
Any input is appreciated as I'm rather worried. Thanks.
