What's the best juice for Kidney cleansing? Seems to be some conflicting info online but apples, celery, and carrots come up often.

Watermelon is one I haven't seen. Do you think these are better than what I posted about or should I mix it up?

Tks

Mine are not. I have pain. It's been that way for years. I was told by the Urologist about 15 years ago if the pain doesn't get worse not to worry about it. It's not worse but it is getting old. I'm going back in to a different doctor in a few weeks to get some tests done. My pain is mainly at night and I have to urinate 2-4 times per night. It's not the prostate.

Worst yet is my uncle just passed away two days ago from a bad kidney.

Do you guys toss the whole lemon in, or do you remove the peal?

do you drink caffeine ? also other diuretics like alcohol. You may be overworking them so try stop taking liquids after say 4pm...

I've read that beet juice is a good Kidney cleanser. Mixed in with carrot juice is easier to drink. Alcohol--esp. beer is hard on the Kidneys.

Norman Walker's juicing book recommends the following for Kidney problems:
(numbers at the end are ounces)

#30
Carrot 10
Beet 3
Cucumber 3

#61
Carrot 10
Spinach 6

#40
Carrot 9
Celery 5
Parsley 2

Good luck

Great info thank. I drink 1-2 cups of Coffee per day and only drink beer once or twice a week. Even when I don't drink much of anything during the day the problem remains so I'm pretty sure they have problems.

I've been juicing apples, parsley, carrots, cabbage, and kale pretty regular. The beets made me sick once so I don't juice them much. I'll start adding about 1/2 per day to see what happens. Tks

Beet juice is really hard to take by iteself--quite cleansing. Most people (myself included) cannot handle it straight as it makes the stomach nauseous. When I was juicing a lot I only put in a wedge as it makes quite a presence in juice--my opinion anyway.

Your juice blend sounds good. Are you feeling better having done if for awhile?

I don't do coffee anymore--was decaf but was bothering my kidneys so I dropped it. Feel better for that.

I am re-reading Norman Walker's two books I have and would like to get ahold of some of his others. Based on his life experience (lived to I believe 109). Some good knowledge about the organs, glands, what are healing juices, etc.

Hope some of this helps.

If you want to continue beets at smaller doses and work you way up, one way to do that without waste is to chop up some beets, dehydrate them and grind them to powder in a blender. Adding a small amount of food grade diatomaceous earth will keep it from caking and it is entirely safe and even beneficial for you to consume itself. Then the beet powder can be added to smoothies and such.

Kidneys can take a week or more to clean up and recover from one overly acidic condition in the stomach/system. Coffee will put a hurt on my kidneys.

You might inquire about food allergies/sensitivities while at the physician. The waste produced by your body fighting off the allergens can be irritating to the urethra and cause urgency to urinate. Some of my allergens that do that are pepper of all color, tomato, and egg.

Keeping your system alkaline is helpful in preventing stress to the kidneys. Get lots of dark greens, green smoothies, a glass of water each morning with a lemon squeezed into it, and plenty of water throughout the day. Those steps were very helpfull in getting me squared away in regards to acidy stomach. There are lots more things to consider like what you could be consuming that makes you acidic, if that is the cause of your kidney complaints.

I've heard an acidic condition also leaches calcium from your marrow, and that coffe and sodas are main contributors to it.

I sent a link to a friend here for helping with kidney pain. Maybe she will chime in if she saved it. It involved patting the low back kidney area with your hands as you do a standing back bend. The resonating sound of you humming while doing this was suggested as helpful too.

That's all stuff I've read, heard or come across on my journey. Don't take my word for it but research and see if you are in agreement. Maybe there will be one tidbit in there that helps.
Best wishes.

mmm I think you need to give the coffee up and see how you go...also I would give up the beer. Or at least for say 6 months to give your kidneys time to gain energy.

First, let's check your blood on cystatine-c. This is a new sensitive measurement for the non-functioning of the kidneys. Also there should be made regular tests on bacteria in the urine (so-called Quick-tests).

Second, pain in the back doesn't necessarily mean your kidneys have a problem. It might be back problems or problems with the blood circulation as well. Of course there are lot's of reasons for that.

Urinating at night indicates to the heart, the bladder musculature, diabetes, alcohol before bedtime, infection of the urinary system, and certain medications.

Parsley is one the most active regarding the kidneys, especially the roots (cave!). Perhaps you might want to look at this book: Siegfried Gursche, Healing with herbal juices, alive books.
