I am going to order some books online, and I would like to buy a raw recipe book. Any recommendations? I went to the book store last weekend and flipped through a few, including Ani's Raw Food Kitchen.
I would like a book with beautiful pictures and easy recipes that don't require a bajillion gadgets. I have a Vita-mix and a food processor, but I don't want recipes that heavily rely on dehydrators and Champion juicers (I prefer to make smoothies, not juice, to keep the fiber).
Thanks!

I second Alissa's. Although I have probably over 20 I turn to Alissa's for my daily ideas and recipes. She covers everything from simple soups and wraps to complex like the calzone. Love, love, love her DVD. It was what first got me motivated to just jump in and start trying the recipes.
There are a good many raw books out there so it depends on if you want simple and quick or more gourmet.
Next to Alissa's I have been using lately:
Juliano's--complex and gourmet
Raw Food Real World--some not so complex but a good book
Hope some of this helps.

I third Alissa's book! The best thing Ive ever purchased! I have been in love with all the recipes I have tried so far out of it, as well as spend time drooling over all the ones I will make.
Another book I love is Green Smoothie Revolution by Victoria Boutenko:

It is definitely worth buying in my opinion.

I love Alissa's 2nd book - I also have both of Ani Phyo's books (not the desert one!) and the Rawvolution cookbook.
I think one of Alissa's book's is a good place to start - wish I'd have known about it when I bought my others. I also find that whatever I cannot find in any of my recipe books I can find by googling. Google is a great source of raw receipes!!

If you have already Alissa book's and you want something else.
I then recommend raw made easy for two. No dehydrator required for these receipe and very easy to do. I love also that the portion are small.

By Jennifer Cornblatt. This is an EXCELLENT choice for someone new to Raw. I recommend this book to friends who are interested in the Raw food lifestyle. The recipes are EASY and delicious.
I had Jennifer's book before Alissa's Raw Food for Everyone. I never got Alissa's first book. I wish she sold it at Amazon or Barnes & Noble, so I could just pick it up or purchase for my iPad.

I fifth? Alissa's. Also have Cornbleet's book and Love it too! ...and all of Ani Phyo's recipes I've tried have been simple enough and super delicious.
therawtarian.com I have loved all her recipes to date. And goneraw.com is a fun place to try stuff from too. I print the ones I like and put them in page protectors for my own little binder of faves.
