Newbie here looking for an alternative to my current breakfast and lunch shake/smoothie. I have been told by other members that using powders is not really the best approach to getting my daily protein and fiber. What I currently use today is the Arbonne product which is vegan botanically based:

I mix 16oz of unsweetened almond milk with (4) scoops of the protein and (2) scoops of the fiber powder. Along with (1) cup of blueberries and (1) cup of strawberries and two heaping teaspoons of flax seed. Note - this is two servings.

Question to all of you is, what would a recommended replacement be for me on a daily basis for breakfast and lunch? I currently have a Blentec and Vitamix (on trial), so I can blend whatever needed.

Thanks for the help!

Ted

You're on a raw vegan diet and you have problems getting enough fiber that you have to supplement it? Wow.

Why don't you add an avocado to your daily plan? That will largely help with your protein/fiber problem.

I am not on a raw food diet. I am looking to add raw food into my diet. But initially looking to get off this powder and onto something that will provide the needed protein and fiber.

The best breakfast for you is green smoothies made from fruit and greens.

Any recommendations of that type of breakfast smoothie would be appreciated. In the meantime I will search the forum and other places.

Thanks!
