:) I'm so proud of me!!! And so tired of cleaning that juicer!
For 21 days I juiced everything I consumed. Well, with the exception of about 5 grapes, 3 dried apple slices, and 4 dried peach slices. And I blended my watermelon juice, once with part of a banana ( I was really craving a banana.)
So how am I? Good! I feel clearer, cleaner, and calmer. I lost 8 pounds, which wasn't really necessary, as I was happy with my weight. Now I am at high school weight. I like it, but I also realize that once I start eating real food again, it may very well come back.
All in all the fast was rather easy, though there were days (not too many) when I prepared for the rest of the family, that I really wanted to dig in! And there were days that I just simply did not want to prepare for the rest of the family.
I think my body did a real heal. There were times I thought I had a cold, achey and tired. There were days all I could do was drag myself to get things done. I slept lots. I took hot sweating baths to help cleanse. I tried my best to take care of me and get the rest I needed.
I feel accomplished. My spirit is at peace and anxious to do what is next expected of me. I'm in love with life again, ready to move mountains. . .
But first I must go find something to chew. That is what I missed -- chewing. And now it is amazing how long I take to chew one grape.
Tha hardest part was reading all the really good receipes and seeing the pictures on here about all the good food you people have been creating. Now I am anxious to try them.
Actually I do not believe I have realized the full benfit of the fast. I think it will reveal itself to me in time.
Blessings!
