View Full Version : In the interest of simplicity....

I don't really 'do' many 'recipes'. After years of food planning, chopping, cooking, cleaning up, I am just soooo happy to be able to grab a fruit or cut up veg and just EAT it.

I figure there will come a time when I'm bored and looking to 'make' something out of raw foods. But part of my attraction to this lifestyle is the finger-food, grab and go, eat what's live, natural and THERE.... part of it. The most I do is throw a salad together.

In all of the dieting and food obsession I've done all my life, it was always 'what can I make that will taste like a gooey hot fudge whatever-macallit'. Now...I'm enjoying the tastes of just....raw food. Plain and simple. I don't want to make a gooey something-or-other. I don't wanna 'duplicate' some dish from my past.

Is that normal? Is it OK to just eat fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds?

Thanks, Revvel.

I do include kale, spinach and sometimes chard in my salads. So....

Good to know simple will make it work. :woohoo:

Might want to consider varying your greens more. There are SO many choices available now... well, here, anyway. Don't know 'bout where you are.

Why greens? The above foods already provide all the essential nutrients you need. Plus greens contain some antinutrients, like oxalates.
