probably nothing, depends if you are strict raw or not. Not sure if they are raw ? The hommus would have preservatives in it though and the chocolate probably some milk fats and sugar...you can make the hommus at home easily for a tenth of the price...

that said does anyone know how to make a nice chocolate from raw cacao powder and nibs ?

What you have to remember is that everything from a store is processed even if it is vegetarian and contains no additives. Anything that is prepared and packaged for retail, however healthy and good it claims to be, has gone through a factory process and is vulnerable to nutrient loss and contamination. It is always desirable to eat foods locally sourced and as close to their original state or homemade/homegrown. That way you know exactly what you are eating. It is not about whether it is right or wrong. It is about what is most desirable and aiming for that whenever logistically, financially, physically, mentally and emotionally possible. There will always be moments when grabbing a shop bought humus is a good choice and there is nothing wrong with that, especially when it is the best option at that moment in time. 'Being right' is always doing your best, 'being wrong' is making bad choices unnecessarily.

Humus is primarily made from cooked chick peas. You can make raw humus.

I love this response. Thank you. Im a little torn between being wasteful with what is already in my fridge . . .. Ive sorta made the odd concession in that regard, and that sits well with me :)
