I would like to hear what other Juicer's are "successfully" eating and drinking daily. I've read so many articles and books over the years I feel like a Yo Yo when trying to eat right. Now that I'm juicing I want to use it to maximum potential. :eat

This morning I juiced: 1 pineapple, 2 handfuls baby carrots, 1/2 head of romaine, 1 zuchinni, 1 pear. It was delish!:woohoo:

If you don't have it, I'd suggest you get Alissa's first book and dvds. She's got a daily eating plan in it plus testimonials and so MUCH information and over 300 recipes.

It's funny; this raw diet initially seems very limiting when you're a newbie, but once you get into it, there are so many things to eat and make. What's more is that everyone seems to eat very differently!

Here's my general diet:

Morning: Green juice -- spinach or swiss chard or kale with apple, carrot, plus a little bit of some or all of the following: cucumber, celery, parsley, beet.

Breakfast: Fruit. Whatever I feel like, and as much as I want. Ranges from apples, tangerines, Clementines, mango, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, etc.

Lunch: Either a big salad or a huge green smoothie (spinach or kale with lots of fruit, maybe some nut milk and a date or two).

Snack: Fruit or walnuts if I need it.

Dinner: Huge, huge salad is my most popular choice. (Romaine, spinach, sprouts, 1/2 avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, olive oil + lemon dressing.) But I also make raw nori rolls sometimes, or a nut pate that I eat over lettuce, or a huge green smoothie if I already had a salad for lunch, or sometimes raw flax pancakes if I'm in the mood for something totally different. If I'm in a real time pinch, then it's raw nut butter over celery and carrots.

Extras, as needed: Raw milkshakes (nut butter, bananas, cacao, nut milk), delicious fruit smoothies (whatever I have lying around, but blueberries, mango and banana is divine!), puddings made from young coconut meat/bananas/cinnamon.

Phew. That's just a quick rundown. This is all with a juicer and a cheap blender, no dehydrator, by the way. Good luck!

Mrs. P - that's a great post! It's good to remember that being simple is so much easier than trying to create a raw version of whatever we eat when we aren't raw. Must remember to simplify.
