salads, raw zucchini pasta, sliced veggies with miso dressing or raw dressing of your choice...

I am still getting past that "I need a main course" type of eating and kind of graze alot. Still its hard making a big dinner for the family and then eating a couple pieces of fruit.

Thanks for responding... I dont need to eat a LOT, like a main course...but just something different. I guess the dehydrator might help that. Im eating veggies, salads and zucchini pasta through the day so I thought maybe something different for night....

There are loads of recipe books and on-line ideas. I like grated sweet potato with cinn and agave and raisins. There is cauliflower cous cous, quinoa tabouleh, go thru the archives and google raw food meals, there is plenty. Pasta made from spiraled zucchini with fresh tomato sauce, the list goes on and on.

Lani! That's exactly what I was going to say! Bring on the grated sweet potato, raisins, and agave!! (and then see next post on weight gain and sweet addictions, lol)

 I am going to the grocery after work in search of sweet potatoes!!

I'm making grated sweet potatoes for dinner, dehydrating grated sweet potato chips for tomorrow's lunch and making my dogs some dehydrated sweet potato chews. :) sweet potatoes. :-)

I dehydrated some 'texas toast' (from Juliano's 'Raw') ... then built sandwiches ...

base of toast, some pate, chopped tomato and other veggies, some leftover marinated mushrooms, perhaps some fremented cheese spread or onion dip, and a generous topping of fresh sprouts ...

I've also used thick flax crackers for my sandwiches ... a base cracker, a thick layer of pate, chopped tomato or various veggies, a large wad of sprouts, a top cracker ... these are great!

The variations are endless. Make up two or three -- a few slices of fresh fruit or a small side salad and you have a great dinner.
Of course, you can use greens as wraps, but sometimes the crunch of a cracker or dehydrated "bread" base is a nice change.

I've made that a couple of times and was in fear of breaking my teeth. How do you do it? Maybe I'm over dehydrating? It's "toast!" ;)
