New greenstar elite 5000 has just arrived! Ooohhhh maybe theres hope that I might start feeling better about raw again!!!

Once again my need to buy the best juicer (for me) has resulted in a big hole in the credit card and even less counter space in an already tiny kitchen.... oh well :)

Now I just have to go out and buy some veggies to start!!

Aleesha,

In thanks to all your help I will try this for my first juice to take to work tomorrow for breakfast-up-to-lunch.

What quantities do you suggest for 500ml-1litre?
I can never remember how much your supposed to drink a day!

approx. 4 large apples makes almost a litre of juice... so depending on the size of the apples... use a small amount of parsley and as you drink this juice more you can increase it.

i drink as much as i want... but i'm usually fasting LOL perhaps make two litres and take that with you...

Congrats on your new juicer !!! :excited:

Every morning I juice a couple of large oranges, one grapefruit, and about a quarter of a pineapple (everything peeled of course). That makes two generous glasses of juice (around 8oz -10 oz or so).

I also like carrot/celery/apple .... about 4-6 carrots, 2-3 stalks celery, one crisp apple. This was actually the first juice I started with, and it is still a favorite.

I love tomato, carrot, celery, onion, beet, apple, and other veggie in the fridge juice. The onion gives it a kick ...

then there's green ... kale, spinach, apple, green grapes or pineapple, cucumber, celery .... another of my favorite mixes.

the variations are endless ... (I use a Greenstar, by the way)

have a wonderful time playing with your new juicer!!!!!
