I am embarrased to say that I have fallen off the raw food wagon. I had a hard time when my partner (who works away) came home for 2 weeks after 8 weeks gone (I was raw nearly the entire time he was gone) He is a TOTAL junk food junkie, and I fell victim to his ways.

I just found out that Im pregnant with #3 and need to get back on the wagon ASAP. I feel awful, my brain is foggy and I cant even stay awake all day and this is not normal for me even while pregnant. I have never had a raw pregnancy, but am excited! I even decided that despite the fact that it is nearly dinner, and Ive already blown it today I will be having a raw dinner. Hopefully I can get back on the wagon ASAP and right my ways. Is it safe to do while pregnant? Im a fairly new raw-foodie, and I dont want to unknowingly do damage.

is it safe to eat healthy when pregnant?

I think you can answer that one yourself ;)

yeah falling off the wagon is something that will lessen over time.. and you may notice that your desire to eat raw will be most potent in the days after a junk food binge.

the best part about binging is when you go to the store the next day and fill your trolley with good food.

also add variety to your meals.. be creative.. binging comes from getting bored with the same old meals.

I've never been pregnant, but if/when I do, I'll be excited to have a raw pregnancy!

Just think of all the health you'll be blessing your unborn baby with, not to mention being such a healthy and caring mom! Concentrate on the positives of eating healthy, raw foods, and not on the negatives of 'slipping up' or feeling bad about it. Raw is certainly a journey, and sometimes there are potholes in the path, but potholes or not, the path still leads to rawness.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, and I wish you and your baby the best in raw awesomeness!

Another raw preggers lady here! Doing GREAT although I'm HAWNGRY sometimes! I have been making more coconut milkshakes and am starting to sprout some quinoa and barley to get some grain-like stuff in there.

If you can get BUCKWHEAT it is very filling.

I'm finding that it's MOST important for me when making food to ONLY use the very freshest, most vibrant food available. A green smoothie 24 hours old? Gimme a puke bag. It's SO gross. (Not really puking, but it's just BLECH.)

What else? Be prepared to eat A LOT.

Drink a ton of water. Give yourself the CHANCE to rest as needed.

Drink those green smoothies.

YAY! So exciting! You are going to give that babe of yours some outstanding nutrition, momma! How far along are you??
