I have a few questions, personal, and just interesting.

1) I have MANY food sensativities (as you may know by now) and figured once I went raw they go away (they do, except one symptom) and i just put the puzzel together. I have these sneezing attacks 7 in a raw and I can't breathe when it happens and I just realized that it happens after I have food with salt in it! Isn't that wierd! It doesn't happen with the REAL celtic sea salt, only the other sea salt. Oh, and salt truely is an addiction and since I'm finally back on raw I NEED to get off salt!

2) I heard calories don't count on raw, but how true is that? Can't you overdo it on certain foods? I've had A LOT of dates the past few days. My puffiness from cooked is clearing, but I'm afraid fat is piling up after all these dates.

3) This is personal, but the past two days I've been having a lot of diarreha, but at the exact same time and same durration. I don't know if it's detox or with the dates or what, I'm not sure. Don't worry, I'm staying hydrated.

4) My muscles are bulking up even with low weights and I want my arms and legs thinner, not bulkier even IF they are muscles. Any clue what going back to raw will do to it? Sorry if that wasn't clear.

I had other questions, but I don't remember them at the moment.

I am not sure that it is totally right to say that calories do not count on raw but I would say that within normal limits it is right. There is a saying that it is not what you earn but what you save that makes you rich. I would say that it is not what you eat but what you fail to eliminate that makes you fat. Your body finds it easier to eliminate raw food so while you may not be able to eat unlimited calories on raw, you can certianly eat more than you can on cooked.

I hope that you are right on the salt and sneezing because that happens to my husband as well and now I will look at the salt issue.

I do not know enough to comment on the other issues

How great for you. It should make is so much easier to abstain from salt. Wish I was allergic to chocolate. He he.

Well actually, a calorie is a calorie. It provides a measure of energy. So if you take in a couple hundred calories a day you will have very little energy.

Now this is where several people have differing opinons. Some folks think getting their calories from fat sources (nuts, oils, avocadoes) are great, while others think that calories through carbs (fruit mostly) are best.

In my personal opinon getting your caloric intake though watery foods is the most beneficial. Getting in plenty of fruit to satisfy your caloric needs will help you tremendously in healing as well. Nuts are dried so they aren't truly fresh, and oil is just concnetrated fat. So keeping consumption of these foods to a minimum would be the best thing to do.

However as long as you are satisfied is what is important in the beginning. If you think too much about what you are eating get caught up with it in a negative way it could backfire on you. There are plenty of folks who can keep track of their calonutrients just fine though, and you could be one of them.

It could be the dates. This has happened to me as well. But please don't throw in the toilet paper I mean the towel because of this. I had a buddy who did and I think it was a mistake. Try to eat lots of bananas to help bind things up down there. I'm sure it will be temporary. If it gets bad or doesn't stop you may want to consider using an intestinal bulking powder like a charcoal/bentonite clay type of thing.

4) My muscles are bulking up even with low weights and I want my arms and legs thinner, not bulkier even IF they are muscles. Any clue what going back to raw will do to it? Sorry if that wasn't clear.

You might want to try more aerobic type of activity. How long have you been on raw? Sometimes it can take a while for your body to find it's natural form on a raw diet.
