I apologize in advance if this isn't posted in the right place.

I'm preparing to do a short fast, about 7 days. I've also decided that I want to buy a juicer and would love some suggestions.

All my research points to a masticating juicer. I've got my eye on an Omega. Would love to get an idea of what you use and what works for you and why.

Also, I have candida and mold. So I will be needing to juice w/o fruit and would be really interested in some good juice recipes if you have them - or if you can point me to a site or book with fruitless veggie juice recipes that would be so helpful.

I appreciate the replies in advance - thank you! :throwhearts:

I have a champion it does well for me. I like how easy it is to clean. I had an older model centrifugal omega that did not eject the pulp and was hard to clean, but it made real good juice. Some times I wich that I had kept it.

I have an omega. I like it. But it's also the only juicer I've owned. Really soft fruit like kiwi, berries, etc... can turn to mush so ya gotta go slow while dropping em in and it's also best to follow em up with something hard or a nice green leaf. But there's a thread that was recently started on the omega in one of these forum areas here.

As far as candida..... Google candida + coconut oil fast. Or instead of using the word fast you can also try, detox or cleanse. I've only read about this so I don't have the experience to say, what to do or how to do it or for how long and wether or not you need to do it a few times. But if you google it I'm sure you'll find some people that say they rid themselves of candida by doing a coconut oil cleanse.
