Hi Everyone

What do you do with your almond "meat" after you strain for almond milk? Anyone have any cool ideas? I dont have a dehydrator, yet, so ideally an idea that doesn't require that process.....
thanks!

Mix it up with some finely chopped dates, raw nut butter, cacao (if you like), a little lemon, then roll it into a ball and garnish with coconut and hemp seeds. You can think of other things to throw in, too.

Thanks Mrs. Papaya!! I just found this recipe too!!
Ingredients
________________________________________
• 1 cup nut pulp
• 1 1/2 cup dried coconut flakes
• 1/2 cup agave (could I use dates INSTEAD, or raw nut butter??)
• 3 Tbs. oil (coconut oil tastes best)
• 1 Tbs. vanilla
• 1/2 tsp. himalayan salt

How to make it
________________________________________
• Mix all ingredients well in food processor. Roll into balls and roll in shredded coconut. Place on dehydrator sheets and dehydrate 12-24 hours.

Ill have to freeze this as no DH at the moment

I have an ice cream maker but have never used it because I make mine from frozen bananas and berries but I know that you can make it in the ice cream maker using almond pulp.
I will not be able to try it out though because I am one of the low fat people who shy away from almonds.
