Is my Young Thai Coconut safe to eat?

I bought a young thai coconut on Jan. 15th and now it is March 19th. It has been in the fridge all this time. I realized this when it was way the back of my fridge when I was cleaning it out.

I am wondering if I should hack it with my machete or just toss it in the garbage.

if the color inside is white not even little pink, it is fine. Chances are, it won't be fine after that time, but just open it and see

I hacked open my coconut and it isn't pink. Very white. I guess, if you leave coconuts in the fridge they have a long fridge life? I had this sucker almost 2 months!
