Recipe Help Please!!

Hi Everyone
I was going to make ALissas almond butter and raisin cookies (page 531 first book), but then I realized I dont have buckwheat. I only have steel cut oat groats. Does anyone know if this will work the same? OR if you have another recipe with similar ingredients for cookies???

And, I dont have a dehydrator but have heard of people simply FREEZING their cookies and desserts rather than dehydrating. Do you know if this would work????

hmmmm - I was going to suggest whole oat groats, so give the cut ones a try. That is the beauty of raw recipes -- a little of this, a little of that and presto, you have a great dish.



I've never tried to freeze rather than dehydrate. Again, see what happens.

I'm sure there is someone on the forum that has experimented with this and will chime in here.

Give it a whirl and let us know how it comes out. :)
