Hey guys,
As I do a lot of juicing with raw veggies and eat a lot of raw fruit, I was wondering.. How do you guys wash your produce to make sure you don't eat any parasite eggs or anything else that isn't wholesome?
I've already parasite cleansed for a month, and have eliminated a huge amount of flukes, a tapeworm, and other nasties, and I want to protect myself from future infestation..
Thanks. :goodday:

I can't answer for the guys but, I rarely wash my produce ~
Don't go barefoot; or dig in the dirt, or go with out a breathing mask, or have pets... or live life. That'll help. :D
Oh, I do all of those btw.... dirt, no gloves; barefoot most of the time; taking in baby rescued squirrels; and live life!

I never do. I like touching the earth. It's what humans were made to do.

I wash fruits and veggies in water, some we scrub, like beets, since there is dirt. I had a friend that was in the restaurant business and said you never know who's handled the food and if their finger went from their nostril (or elsewhere) to your carrot! uch!!!!! My husband even peels hus apples and pears.
Unfortunately, some of the fruit/veggies we purchase aaren't organic since not available. I don't believe pesticides can be washed away. I Reiki all my food, no matter what it is, don't evn have to think abot it anymore.
I've had my own garden and worked in a few, so I pull apart my lettuces, etc to rince off little bugs and worms. :throwhearts:

I give things a good rinse-off. I cut and wash lettuces and salad spin them. I scrub some things like carrots if they are not really clean--use a little orange brush designed for carrot cleaning (I adore gadgets, what can I say). I don't usually peel anything (with an edible peel) as that is wasted vitamins in my book.
I love playing in the dirt, too. Will be picking up more organic soil today and start setting up my square foot garden. Can hardly wait to play!

I wash regular produce. Organic produce from the farmer's market doesn't get washed. Great way to get your B12!

I am in the middle of this. I am sitting here barefoot but wash my food. It is not the natural dirt that I am afraid of but the dirt that may come from the people who have handled it before me without washing their hands.
Agreed, unless you grow it yourself washing quickly with water doesn't hurt. And for example the spinach I buy usually is very muddy, no way I'm eating all that stuff without washing it :)

I usually always wash my produce before eating. There have been times that I have not, but for the most part I do. But I do go barefoot a lot, so do my kids, but we live in sunny Florida it is almost a must when living here. My thing is; nature germs don't bother me people germs do :)

I eat organic and always scrub my produce. I either use a natural soap or when doing a larger quantity spray with white vinegar. You can make a good cleaner with vinegar or citrus extract/oil. Unless you grow it yourself, it's best to clean it.
