I was just wondering how long to dehydrate apples for? I have them in the excalibur at 105.
I made pesto stuffed mushrooms...they are too yummy. Are there any bad recipes in Allisa's book? :)
Thaks for the help!

Rawma, if you are using an excalibur, I would say anywhere from 7-15 hours. The best thing to do is check on them and just learn from experience.

I slice the apples pretty thin ... and usually dehydrate them overnight. If they don't seem dry enough, then I leave them in for the next day.

I have made two batches of dried apples this week, what an awesome snack. I did squeeze the juice of one lemon over them before I dried them and they are a nice golden color. I dried them for about 7 hours, slightly chewy but dry.
