flax in a snack bar

I made these yummy snack bars! They have ground flax in it though and i know that that has to be refridgerated, i wanna be able to carry them in my bag for when i need a snack throught my day, would they be okay in a closed container in my bag?

I think if they're just out for the day you are eating them, that shouldn't be a problem. Flax needs to be kept refrigerated because it goes rancid easily, but that's not necessarily happening in a day.
