Common Causes of Dark Circles Under Eyes
Thinning skin
Allergies and Hayfever
Genetics
Fluid Retention
Lack of sleep
Iron Deficiency Anemia
Dehydration

Do you think that any of these apply to you. Are you drinking enough water.

I think many people see an improvement with this on raw. It could be because many people have low level allergies they aren't aware of, but being raw gets their immune system strong enough to deal with the allergens, and removes others.

Yeah I was thinking that too. I really hope it is true because its very noticable and it makes me feel uncomfortable that I have them. I've been trying putting vitamin E oil on it too I have noticed a little difference but not much. /:

I've heard it's because your kidneys need a cleansing...

When I used to eat junk food I'd get them so bad I looked like a haggard heroin addict. It's better on raw, but I definitely have some genetic propensity towards them. I keep meaning to go without bananas for a couple of weeks to experiment but they're such a staple in my diet, I'd really have to do some planning.

One of the common allergies is gluten. You could eliminate all processed wheat from your diet for a short period of time and see if thats it. If it is you should start to feel a noticeable improvement in the way you feel right away and also notice an increase in energy and then a little later the "raccoon eyes" should begin to fade. I'm gluten sensitive and when I "slip" and have some gluten the resulting effects motivate me back to raw very quickly. Good luck.

Well being raw i dont have much gluten. Idk what things i consume that might have it but it would only be one or two things so idk

Hi Kelly,
Some more tips for you to cure dark circles under your eyes.
Drink 12-15 glasses of water daily,
Do pranayam for at least 10 minutes everyday,
Apply a mixture of turmeric powder and pineapple juice on dark circles,
Massage almond oil under your eyes,
Apply cold cream 15 minutes before going to bed,
Sleep for 8 hours in a day.

Sounds like you're short on sleep. Just buy some orange/peach colour corrector (natural) or make your own. :) Lol.
