When one does juice fasting, does hunger go away in a couple of days like what happens in a water fasting?

If hunger goes away, what is the reason? In a water fasting, hunger goes away because the body produces ketones in the absence of carbohydrates, and ketones are supposed to supress hunger sensation. But in a juice fasting one takes in plenty of carbos.

Thanks in advance for replies.

Joyce: my experience with a nine day fast that I'm ending today is that my hunger went away after days 3 and 4. I think it's because your digestion more or less shuts down.

yup... that's right. your hunger goes away water fasting faster - in my experience. usually my hunger is gone by day two.

with juice fasting your body does produce keytones just not to the same extent (so i've been told)..
